MQM to organise a gathering of ulema on Jan 30

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will organise a programme for promoting inter-faith harmony, brotherhood and for maintaining peace and tranquility during the month of Rabi-ul- Awwal.

A gathering of ulema will be held at the Lal Qila Ground Azizabad on January 30 at 3 pm, said a statement issued by the party on Sunday.

MQM chief Altaf Hussain will address the gathering via telephone from London.

All the arrangements for the programme have been finalised.
