LAHORE: Agriculture products exhibited Punjab Agriculture Meat Company (PAMCO) at International Green Week in Germany received good response due to high quality.
PAMCO Chief Executive Dr. Hamid Jalil told APP on Friday that an MoU was signed with German companies after successful dialogue regarding provision of certain products to them.
Three teams have been constituted to initiate marketing process in Germany and other European countries,he said,adding these teams would visit different markets to look for wholesale dealers for Pak products.
PAMCO was taking part in IGW exhibition as primary company and displayed various items including Kinnow,vegetables etc while twenty other companies were co-exhibitors,it was learnt.
He further said that it was for the first time that Pakistani agriculture products had access to Europe which is a big market where Pakistani products could be sold.
"With the cooperation of Punjab Chief Minister we got Global GAP, IFS and other international certifications which are necessary to have access to European markets", he explained.
