PM orders promotion of 1046 teachers

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani Wednesday ordered the promotion of 1046 federal government school teachers from grade 16 to 17 as per special package.

Spokesman Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Rafique Tahir told APP that as many as 474 male and 572 female teachers have been promoted in the next higher grade.The promotees were working in the same garde from the last many years. CADD has issued notification of their promotion.

Meanwhile, President Teachers Association Azhar Awan has thanked the Prime Minister for fulfilling year’s long demand of the teachers.He assured that the promotees would now work with more devotion and dedication.
