KARACHI: On Monday, KSE-100 index remained in the positive zone throughout the market session and closed at a value of 12,037.66 with a net positive change of 262.98. Total volume traded of KSE-100 companies was at 179,954,423 shares whereas total volume of shares traded in the market was at 230,138,576.
The five leading companies by volume were Jahangir Siddiqui & Co., Lotte Pakistan, Bank Al-Falah, Azgard Nine and D.G. Khan Cement.
The five companies that recorded the highest positive change in price were Colgate Palmolive (33.38), MCB Bank (7.99), National Refinery (7.58), Fauji Fertilizer Company (7.24) and Tri-Pack Films (6.35).
The five companies that recorded the highest negative change in price were Nestle Pakistan (-53.75), Siemens Pakistan (-11.83), Bhanero Textile (-11.02), Mitchell's Fruits Farms (-4.33) and Sanofi Aventis (-3.96).
