KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port Qasim on Saturday 21st January, 2012, carrying containers at QICT, furnace oil at FOTCO.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 42 percent at the Port Qasim on Sunday where a total of six ships namely, M.V La Paloma, M.V Leo Pard-B, M.V MSC Carla, M.T Bunga Angsana, M.T Akaki, M.V Ataman are currently occupying berths to load/offload rice, cement, containers, palm oil, furnace oil and canola seed was handled at Port last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port Qasim where a cargo volume 86622 tonnes comprising 74853 tonnes import, 11769 tonnes export, 1322 (TUES) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
M.T Al Salam-II sailed on Saturday morning.
M.V Maersk Georgia, M.V ACX Lily at QICT, arrive on 22nd January, 2012.
