Steps taken to facilitate tax payers

FAISALABAD: Regional tax office, Faisalabad, to facilitate tax payers, has placed complaint boxes at offices of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) and All Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (APTEA).

It was stated by Shafqat Mehmood, Commissioner zone-I, while talking to APP here on Saturday. Tax payers, he said, could now drop their complaints and suggestions into the boxes for prompt redress. He said the new procedure had started yielding positive results.

He said that he had directed in charge of the complaint cell, Nadeem Shahid, to resolve problems faced by tax payers on a priority basis. Meanwhile, the regional tax department disposed of 15 complaints out of pending 28.
