Meeting with Afaq a routine matter: Wassan

KARACHI: Home Minister Sindh Manzoor Hussain Wassan on Thursday said that the meeting with Chairman MQM-H Afaq Ahmed was not a scheduled one.

Clarifying the impression created by some news channels about the meeting, the minister said in a statement, that he (Afaq) came to his office as other people met him in routine.

During the meeting Afaq Ahmed expressed concern about his security on which he was assured that action would be taken in the matter according to law.
