SUKKUR: Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Wednesday reviewed the Sindhi Recruits passing out parade in Artillery regiment at the Pano Aqil Garrasion.
He was the chief guest at the ceremony. He was welcomed by Corps Commander Lieutenant General Muhammad Zahir ul Islam and General Officer Commanding Major General Asghar Nawaz.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest CM Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah appreciated the turnout of recruits and urged them to show utmost vigilance and devotion in undertaking any task assigned after joining the ranks of Pakistan Army.
He further said that it was really an encouraging step towards national harmony and patriotism. Later, CM also inaugurated the Pano Aqil Institute of Technical Education and announced a special grant of Rs20 million to upgrade the institute.
A large number of civil and military dignitaries, retired army officers, civilians, junior commissioned officers, MPAs, jawaans, notables and students recruits witnessed the parade.
