Imran Khan prefers opposition over alliance with PPP, PML-N

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf  (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Thursday that he would prefer to be a part of opposition rather than form partnership with his competitors.

In an interview to a local TV channel, the PTI chairman said that once a person forms an alliance with another person, it becomes a hindrance. He added that one then has to follow the rules and discipline of the person he has formed an alliance with. "One is forced to compromise on their viewpoints," he said.

Khan further said that coalition government with either Pakistan Peoples Party or Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz was impossible as both the parties would not agree to the kind of manifesto he desired. According to him, coalition cannot be controlled so he would rather sit in opposition.

Speaking about winning the elections and what measures he would implement, Khan said that the country cannot be saved until and unless one does not choke corruption.
