Strict action to be taken on display of weapon

LAHORE: DIG Operations Lahore Shahzad Akbar on Wednesday ordered that strict action would be taken over display of weapon in public gathering and procession during election campaign.

He said that all divisional SPs would ensure ban on display of weapon in public gathering and procession of political parties.

He said that all available resources were being utilized to hold general election in a peaceful manner.

He said that all DPs and SHOs should meet organizers of public gathering and procession and set security matters.
