ISLAMABAD: Former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Salim Sarwar Jaura has been declared joint candidates of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for NA 69 and PP-31 respectively as a result of seat adjustment between both parties.
Mian Imran Masood and Ch Asghar Tail Waley announced their withdrawal from PP-31 Gujrat in favour of PTI’s Chaudhry Salim Sarwar Jaura following seat adjustment between both parties.
Senior leaders of both parties including Chairman Salim Kamboh, Chairman Ch Parvez Bashir, Tahir Hussain Tirkha, Ali Ibrar Jaura, Ch Attaullah Gill, Ch Shuja Zaib Jaura, Ch Mazhar, Chairman Afzal Samaan and others were present during the announcement of seat adjustment. said a press release.
Imran Masood said both parties have been pursuing joint strategy in the Senate, National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies. Ch Salim Sarwar Jaura thanked Pakistan Muslim League saying he will work more for victory of Ch Parvaiz Elahi from NA-69 than his own election.
Meanwhile, Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi paid rich tributes to Mian Imran Masood on his meritorious services and said that he is our very old and trust-worthy colleague.
