ISLAMABAD: Former Finance Minister Miftah Ismail on Wednesday said Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) would resolve the water issue of Karachi after coming into power.
“We will make Karachi a developed city, “ he said talking to a private news channel.
The PML-N was asking vote from the public of Karachi on the basis of performance in last five years, he said.
They (people) are well aware of the development of Punjab, particularly Lahore, he added.
The PML-N had fulfilled the promises made during the election campaign of 2013 elections, he said.
Ijaz Chaudhry of Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf alleged that Pakistan Peoples Party, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), and Mutahida Qaoumi Movement could not focus on the issues of Karachi. All these political parties were not serious in addressing the problems of this big city, he observed.
Sehar Kamran, a leader of Pakistan Peoples Party said PPP was one of the major political parties of the country. She alleged that PTI could not streamline the system in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa.
