Newly appointed caretaker federal ministers allotted portfolios

ISLAMABAD: President on advise of Caretaker Prime Minister Justice (Retd) Nasir-ul-Mulk Wednesday allotted portfolios to newly appointed Ministers Mian Misbah-ur- Rehman and Lt Gen (Retd) Naeem Khalid Lodhi.

According to a notification issued here, Lt Gen (Retd) Naeem Khalid Lodhi would look after the portfolios of Ministry of Defence, Defence Production, National Security Division and Aviation Division.

Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman would look after Ministry of Commerce and Textile, Ministry of Industries and Production.

The portfolios of Aviation Division, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Defence Production has been taken back from caretaker minister Abdullah Hussain Haroon. While Ms Shamshad Akhtar would cease to hold the portfolio of Ministry of Commerce and Textile.
