Hashmi says he has no interest in contesting polls

MULTAN: Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has said that he wants to do politics of the country instead of a constituency and he has no interest in contesting elections.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, he said that he had submitted his nomination papers on the direction of the party leadership.
Also, Hashmi added, Javed Ali Shah, the PML-N candidate in NA-158, informed him that he would have no constituency if he (Hashmi) would contest election from the same constituency.
Hashmi said that Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had promised him a ticket, but he himself was not interested in contesting elections. He said he would continue supporting for Pakistan Muslim League-N.
He said that people should vote candidates on the basis of their performance only.
