QUETTA: A statement issued by the ISPR Friday denied military operation in any part of Balochistan and said that purpose of false propaganda was to damage the prestige of the armed forces.
Referring to reports appearing in a section of newspapers demanding cessation of alleged military operation and the demolition of houses in Dera Bugti, the ISPR statement said that the reports were part of the malicious propaganda being aired to damage the prestige of Military, conceal the unlawful activities of some elements and to create impediments in development process of the province.
The statement added that these elements would not succeed in gaining the public sympathies by airing false and malicious propaganda against the security agencies.
