ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly session was adjourned on Wednesday to meet again at 11 am on Thursday.
Presiding officer SA Iqbal Qadri adjourned the session when MQM legislators led by Ali Raza Abidi wanted to present a resolution for creating Southern Sindh Province.
Speaking on a Point of Order, Ali Raza Abidi sought the permission to table a resolution for creating new province.
Abidi wanted to suspend the rules for presenting the resolution however the chair did not give him permission arguing rules should be followed before submitting the resolution.
