PM dismisses Defence Secretary Lodhi, Nargis Sethi given additional charge of Defence Secretary

KARACHI : Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has dismissed defence Secretary Lt General (Retd.) Naeem Khalid Lodhi.

gilani_400KARACHI: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has dismissed defence Secretary Lt General (Retd.) Naeem Khalid Lodhi.

Cabinet Secretary Nargis Sethi has been given additional charge of Defence Secretary.

According to the Prime Minister, General (Retd.) Lodhi was dismissed on gross misconduct as his illegal actions created misunderstandings between institutions.
