Farhatullah denies reports on President’s resignation

ISLAMABAD: A spokesperson to the President on Wednesday denied reports that President Asif Ali Zardari had offered to resign.

A statement from the office of Spokesperson of President Zardari, Farhatullah Babar termed these reports as "contrary to facts."

The spokesperson commenting on the news published in a section of press said "there is no truth in these reports."

"Neither in the allies meeting Tuesday night nor at any other stage has the President offered to resign, and the reports suggesting otherwise are contrary to facts and reality of the situation," he said.
