KARACHI: An urgent meeting of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Core Committee has been called by President Asif Ali Zardari in the wake of the Supreme Court verdict in the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) implementation case.
According to reports, the meeting was called to review the proceedings in the court.
President Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani are expected to meet leaders of allied parties to discuss the current political situation arising out of the SC verdict on the NRO implementation case.
