ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Barrister Javed Abbasi has said the leadership of his political party was effectively working for the best national interest and had also brought political and economic stability in the country.
The national interest was above all and the leaders of political parties should work for betterment and welfare of the country and the masses, he said talking to a news channel. He said the PML-N government wanted the continuity of democratic system as democracy was best solution to resolve all issues being confronted by the country.
The senator said it was the beauty of democracy that second time a democratic government was going to complete its constitutional tenure, he added.
To a query, he said Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif had already given the party stance regarding the statement of former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
