Transparency in wheat purchase centers to be ensured: DC

SARGODHA: Deputy Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chatha Friday visited a wheat procurement centre Shahpur and directed the staff to provide relief to farmers.

During his visit to the centre, he directed officials to also provide proper sitting arrangements with  availability of drinking water.

The assistant food controller briefed the DC that total 97,920 wheat bags had been fixed for the centre and total 70,000 bags had been issued while 21,500 bags had also been delivered at the centre.
