LONDON: Royal Dutch Shell on Tuesday said it had agreed to sell its near nine-percent stake in energy group Canadian Natural Resources for $3.3 billion (2.8 billion euros) to help reduce debt.
The Anglo-Dutch giant announced in a short statement an "agreement to sell its entire stake in Canadian Natural Resources Limited".
Shell last month announced soaring net profits thanks to resurgent crude oil and gas prices.
