KARACHI: The Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Karachi, Dr Tilo Klinner, called on the Sindh Home Minister, Manzoor Hussain Wassan, on Monday. On the occasion, they discussed matters of mutual interest and other matters.
An official of the Home Department said that Dr Tilo also offered training programmes for the Sindh police.
The Sindh Home Minister welcomed the offer and said that a detailed programme would be chalked out and presented to the German government.
The German Consul General also suggested vocational training programme for the highly educated people.
He also apprised of the interest of the German investors in textile, chemicals and other sectors.
Home Minister assured that the German investors would be provided with security and all possible facilities.
He also spoke of the close friendly ties between Federal Republic of Germany and Pakistan and added that the collaboration and cooperation between the two countries should be further strengthened.
