ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry Sunday condemned firing incident on Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal in a public gathering in Narowal.
Talking to a private news channel, he said Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal received bullet injury on his arm however his condition was out of danger.
As per initial information, a person who opened fire on the minister, has been arrested and interrogation was underway, the minister said.
He said Ahsan Iqbal was a dedicated person and he had been on front line in war against terrorism.
Talal Chaudhry appealed the nation to pray for his complete recovery.
To a question, he said Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal would be shifted to Lahore on suggestion of doctors.
