NAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling strengthened marginally against the dollar on Wednesday with thin demand from retail importers being easily met by inflows from horticulture exports and remittances, traders said.
At 1000 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 100.15/35 per dollar, compared with 100.30/50 at Monday's close. Markets were closed on Tuesday for Labour Day holiday.
