KSE mid day update

KARACHI: The KSE-100 index closed at 11,127.51 level, down 60.37 points at the end of first session on Friday.

After positive opening the index hit 11,267 points intra day high, up 78 points on the back of investors interest in fertilizer sector. However, the index dropped in negative due to selling in oil and banking sector stocks.

Total trading volumes stood at 15.164 million shares at the end of first session. Fatima Fertilizer Co, Fauji Fertilizer Engro Corp and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim were top volume leaders.

At the end of first session, 101 stocks advanced, 115 declined while the value of 17 stocks remained unchanged.
