LAHORE: The elections of office-bearers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Balochistan will be held in the party's general council meeting being held in Quetta on Friday (today).

President PML-N Mian Nawaz Sharif, who is reaching Quetta on two-day visit on Friday, will chair the PML-N Balochistan general council meeting.

Nawaz had chaired the PML-N's Balochistan Coordination Committee meeting on Tuesday last in which various issues pertaining to PML-N reorganisation affairs in Balochistan and other matters were discussed.

During his visit to Balochistan, Nawaz would also meet Baloch leaders and exchanged views on current situation in Balochistan, sources in the PML-N said.

According to the sources, the PML-N leadership is determined to gather Baloch brethren under the umbrella of national flag by getting resolved the issues of angry Baloch national leaders. The PML-N is also striving for making an alliance with the Balochistan National Party (BNP).

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Mian Nawaz Sharif has pledged that he will fight the case of Balochistan at all forums and would resolve the issue in consultation with all defiant Baloch leaders.

The PML-N believes that Baloch people were patriotic citizens and Balochistan was part of Pakistan and atrocities were being committed in Balochistan, the sources said.
