iPhone 5s might get Apple's latest iOS 12

If you are still an iPhone 5s user, there is good news for you as the phone might be getting Apple’s latest version of iOS, which itself is yet to be released.

Reports suggest that Apple iPhone 5s will get the next upcoming version of iOS in June this year. Last year the tech giant declared that any iPhone released after iPhone 5 will get the iOS 11 and now new leaks from 9to5Mac are suggesting that the five-year-old iPhone 5s will surely get iOS 12.

Apple’s newly released iOS 11.3 update is its biggest till now

French blog ‘MacGeneration’ has spotted Apple has been spotted testing iOS 12 and the latest Safari browser version on an iPhone 5s in the open source WebKit, the browser engine that powers Safari. This led to rumors that the 2013 device might get the upcoming iOS 12 version.

However, as per BGR, just because Apple was spotted testing the new iOS version, it does not necessarily mean that the device will get the new software update.

Moreover, the upcoming iOS 12, which is code-named ‘Peace’ is expected to feature multiplayer mode for AR games, bring in deeper Siri integration, Animoji feature for FaceTime and more.
