ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Prof Ahsan Iqbal has lauded the role on International Islamic University in promotion of Islamic (IIUI) character.
During a meeting with the IIUI President, Dr Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, the minister congratulated him on his appointment as IIUI President for further four years unanimously by the Board of Trustees of IIUI, a press release said on Monday.
The minister praised the achievements of the University during the tenure of Dr Al-Draiweesh and hoped that his leadership would double the pace of varsity progress.
IIUI President thanked the Interior Minister for his visit to the university.
He apprised the minister about the university's goals, latest achievements, especially in the field of dissemination of peace, moderation and tranquility.
