SYDNEY: India were 114 for two at the close and trailing Australia by 354 runs on the third day of the second Test on Thursday.
Gautam Gambhir was not out 68 with Sachin Tendulkar on eight.
Australia declared at middle session drinks at 659 for four, leaving Michael Clarke 329 not out and Mike Hussey unbeaten on 150.
