SEHWAN SHARIF: President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday visited the shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar here and laid a wreath.
The President offered prayers at the shrine and also recited verses from the Holy Quran.
He also prayed for the progress and prosperity of the country, the people and the nation.
President Zardari was briefed about the expansion and renovation work of the shrine of Hazrat Shahbaz Lal Qalandar.
The President directed the authorities concerned for early completion of the renovation and expansion work of the shrine.
Later, the President also briefly visited Benazirabad (Nawabshah) and reviewed the progress on the development projects of the area. He later returned to Karachi.
