KARACHI: Karachi share market started on Wednesday on a mixed note with the index moving both sides.

Investors interest in some main board stocks in banking, fertilizer and oil sectors once again supported the index to stand in positive at 11,406.11 level, up 4.37 points.

Trading activities also improved and nearby volumes increased to 11.195 million shares.

NBP is volume leader with 1.436 million shares and gained Re0.83 to Rs 43.85.
