ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Javed Abbasi has said the PML-N had delivered to the masses and would go in the general elections on the basis of its performance.
Talking to a news channel, he said the PML-N had fulfilled most of the promises made during the election campaign in 2013 including overcoming power loadshedding, terror related incidents and restoring peace in Karachi.
He said the PML-N wanted general elections on time and in a free, fair and transparent manner.
Javed Abbasi said all the political parties should be provided independent environment to participate in elections and the party which get majority should rule the country.
To a question, he said there was a need to bring improvements in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) laws to ensure accountability across the board.
The PML-N wanted to introduce accountability bill and had also completed work on it, but unfortunately consensus could not developed on the matter, he said.
Javed Abbasi said people of the country had badly rejected the politics of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) specially in Punjab province.
