KARACHI: The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh, Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, while taking a strict notice of the hand grenade blast in Karachi's Hyderi Market on Monday, has sought a detailed report in this regard from the DIG West Range.
A police spokesman said that the IGP has directed the collection of evidences with the assistance of the Forensic Division of Sindh Police for making the investigation process more effective and ensure the arrest of those involved.
He said that Mushtaq Ahmed Shah also instructed that concrete steps should be taken for picketing and snaps checking on the entry and exit points of the metropolis besides surveillance of suspected vehicles. The IGP also directed the patrolling by the police should also be enhanced.
