ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Finance Rana Muhammad Afzal has said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government was effectively working for utmost interest of the country.
Former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had launched a number of welfare projects including China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) which would bring economic revolution in the country, he said talking to a private news channel.
The minister said peace had been restored while power load shedding was diminished from the country due to hectic efforts of the PML-N government.
He said the present government had implemented disqualification decision against Nawaz Sharif, who was ousted having an Iqama but not corruption charges.
He said Nawaz Sharif was still most popular leader in the country, who had roots among the masses. Rana Afzal said the PML-N government would win the general elections 2018 on basis of performance and prudent policies.
Replying to a question, he said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government did not deliver anything for the development of province.
