LAHORE: Thousands of people, including women and children, on the last day of the year, thronged parks of the provincial capital to enjoy a sunny day.
The pleasant weather in the city attracted people to parks and other places while students of all governmental and private institutions are already enjoying holidays.
Bagh-e-Jinnah, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Race Course Park, Model Town Park, Shalimar Gardens, Iqbal Park and Nawaz Sharif Park, Minar-e-Pakistan, zoo and Lahore Fort were main places of attraction.
There was a great rush in parks and many families took their meal.
Traffic jams were also seen in the city near parks, especially outside zoo where hundreds of vehicles were parked on the road due to which passengers had to face immense problems to reach their destinations.
