Three day anti polio campaign to start on April 9

JHANG: District Polio Eradication Committee Chairman Mudassar Riaz Malik has directed the officers of health department to act upon micro plan to get hundred per cent targets for controlling polio menace in the district.

A well organized plan should be evolved for advertising anti polio drive, he said while presiding over a meeting of District Polio Eradication Committee.

CEO district health authority, district emergency officer and others attended the meeting.

He said a three-day anti polio campaign will start on April 9 and continue till April 11. During these 3 days 476000 children will be given anti polio drops by 1096 mobile teams.

He said all arrangements to launch anti polio drive had been finalized.
