ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday ordered jail authorities to produce Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Federal Judicial Complex (FJC) attack case registered against him and others.
ATC judge, Tahir Abass Sipra, while hearing the case against Khan and other PTI leaders, ordered Adiala Jail authorities to produce Khan before it either in person or through video link. The case had been registered at Ramna Police Station against Khan and other PTI leaders.
The court declared former ministers Farukh Habib, Hamad Azhar, Murad Saeed and Shibli Fraza as proclaimed offenders. The court also summoned details of the properties of the accused who have been declared as proclaimed offenders.
During the hearing, the court issued arrest warrants for former deputy speaker of the Punjab Assembly Wasiq Qayyum and PTI member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Hassan Khan Niazi.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till November 5.
