KARACHI: Syed Raza Hussain, Muhammad Haroon Shamsi and Imran Haroon have been elected as president, senior vice president and vice president of Federal B Area Association of Trade and Industries (FBATI) for the year 2026-28.
Raza said the new leadership would take initiatives to promote business and economic activities across the country by improving the ease of doing business, reducing energy costs and promoting the adoption of artificial intelligence.
Raza reiterated his vision to develop a comprehensive SME development plan for the country, with a focus on specialised incentives, financing programmes and measures to promote export growth.
The newly-elected FBATI president also expressed his commitment to continuing advocacy for the development of Karachi’s infrastructure to address the challenges faced by businesses and improve the overall business environment.
