LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Information and Culture, Azma Bokhari, has said that the Punjab government has outpaced all other provinces in providing tangible relief to the masses. She emphasized that whenever it comes to public welfare and facilitation, the Punjab government will always remain at the forefront.

In an official statement issued here today, Azma Bokhari lauded the pro-people initiatives of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, noting that the CM finds genuine contentment in serving the public. “The Chief Minister has never left the people of Punjab alone; she stands as a pillar of support for her people in every hour of need,” the Minister remarked.

Discussing transport reforms, the Provincial Minister highlighted that CM Maryam Nawaz has won the hearts of the public by making public transport completely free of cost across Punjab. She clarified that as long as the current war-like situation persists, the public will continue to benefit from free travel facilities in public transport.

Turning to the agricultural sector, Azma Bokhari noted that the Chief Minister prioritizes the welfare of farmers in every policy decision. Referring to the historic measures taken over the last two years, she said, “The farmers of Punjab provide food security to the entire country, and their prosperity remains our top priority.”
