KARACHI: Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has paid glowing tribute to the party’s founding Chairman, Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, on his martyrdom anniversary, saying that he was a visionary statesman whose sacrifice became the eternal voice of democracy and the dignity of the people.
He said in his message that the country’s first elected Prime Minister, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, was the architect of a Pakistan where power rests with the people and where the sun of hope rises each day from the hearts of the deprived.
He added that the martyrdom of Quaid-e-Awam was not the silencing of a voice, but the awakening of a nation’s conscience.
The PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto stands as a towering and multidimensional statesman in history, who reshaped Pakistan’s political and social course.
