ISLAMABAD: Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq strongly condemned the explosion near a police vehicle in Lakki Marwat.
He paid tribute to the six police personnel, including a Station House Officer (SHO), who were martyred in the blast.
The speaker expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy with the families of the martyrs and said that he shares their grief and sorrow.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said the brave officers and personnel of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police are playing a frontline role in the fight against terrorism. He added that the sacrifices of the KP Police officers and personnel in the war against terrorism will always be remembered.
He said the sacrifices of the martyrs will not go in vain and the entire nation salutes these brave sons who laid down their lives in the fight against terrorism.
The speaker also said that the whole nation stands with its security forces and police to completely eliminate terrorism from the country.
He prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for patience and strength for their families.
