CM condoles Dr Shamshad Akhtar’s death

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the passing of Dr Shamshad Akhtar, the first woman governor of the State Bank of Pakistan.

In a condolence message, the chief minister extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and paid tribute to the late Shamshad Akhtar’s services to the country, particularly her contributions to the financial and economic sector.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul.
