FAISALABAD: An important meeting of the DDWP was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Faisalabad Raja Jahangir Anwar, in which Deputy Commissioner Captain Nadeem Nasir (retd), Additional Commissioners Tanveer Murtaza, Asif Iqbal Chohan, Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Malik Murtaza, Deputy Director Development Syed Naveed Iqbal, SS Highways and other officers were present.
The Commissioner directed to expedite the work on preparing electric bus shelters and said that the concerned contractor should be mobilized for work in three shifts. He said that 40 bus shelters should be completed by January 10, 2026.
He said that he would personally monitor the construction work of the bus shelter and there was no room for even the slightest delay in this regard.
He said that the Chief Minister of Punjab has issued clear instructions to complete this important task quickly, so the concerned departments should realize their responsibilities.
