LAHORE: Acknowledg-ing the role of overseas Pakistanis in the national development, Pakistan Muslim League-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussein said that promotion of investment is vital for strengthening the national economy.
He said this while talking to Chief Executive World Trade Developers Canada, Rana Mohammad Tanveer here Monday. Punjab Minister for Industries Chaudhry Shafay Hussein was also present on the occasion.
During the meeting detailed discussions were held on promotion trade and business activities in Punjab.
Shujaat expressed the hope that Rana Mohammad Tanveer would play his role for giving boost to economic activities in Punjab after his induction as Executive member of the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade.
Chaudhry Shafay said on the occasion that conducive atmosphere has been provided in Punjab and local and foreign investors are showing keen interest for investment in Punjab.
