KARACHI: A high-level delegation of the country's leading oil refineries called on Director General Karachi Development Authority Asif Jan Siddiqui at the KDA Main Office on Thursday.

The delegation included Nadeem Memon from Pakistan Refinery, Rehan Shafiq from National Refinery Limited, Faheem Siddiqui from National Refinery Limited, Shah Nawaz Khan Jamali from the Manager Legal, NRL, and Rizwan Siddiqui from Land Park.

During the meeting, DG KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui said that the aim of this meeting is to further strengthen the mutual cooperation of government institutions in line with modern requirements for the development of the country and for the better future of the generations.

“We all represent government institutions. Our main goal is to strengthen mutual cooperation and ensure the best results.”

Director General KDA called for earliest payment of KDA dues to oil refineries so that the Karachi Development Authority could become financially stable and meet its financial obligations, especially the payments of the dues of retired employees.

He issued directives to form a special committee which would review the dues and payments, and the proposals presented by the oil refineries and submit a report in the next meeting.

KDA’s Member Finance and Director IT Muhammad Kashif Khan, Member Administration Shakeel Siddiqui, Director KDA Rafiq Khuhro, Senior Director Land Jamil Ahmed, Director Land Murad Abbasi, Project Director Lines Area Abdullah Dahri, Director Recovery Arif Shah, Director Estate and Enforcement Muhammad Meraj and other officers were also present in the meeting.
