Pathfinder CITADEL DAVOS Startup Challenge presents a chance to pitch at World Economic Forum 2026

  • Startups in AI, fintech, climate, health, DeepTech, AgriTech and other high-impact domains encouraged to apply
Published Updated

The Pathfinder CITADEL DAVOS Startup Challenge, in partnership with Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA), is a national competition that will select Pakistan’s top startups to pitch on the global stage at the Pakistan Pavillion during World Economic Forum Davos 2026.

It is looking for eight startups - preferably in AI, fintech, climate, health, DeepTech, AgriTech and other high-impact domains.

According to its website, “aligned with CITADEL’s vision to empower Pakistan’s innovation to change the world and its mission to convert talent into jobs and ideas into scalable ventures, the challenge targets market-ready founders.”

The deadline to submit applications is October 4. This will be followed by shortlisted startups pitching their products on October 11, and a final pitching round on October 25.

Winners will gain visibility with global leaders and investors, international media exposure, and access to Pathfinder CITADEL’s acceleration, mentorship, and corporate linkages—creating a clear pathway from Pakistan’s innovation ecosystem to global markets, the website stated.

CITDAEL says startups that apply will undergo a rigorous selection process ensuring only the most promising startups reach Davos.

The eight finalists will attend a comprehensive bootcamp and be given mentorship from industry leaders, investors, and international business experts to prepare them for the international stage.

In order to qualify the startup must be an early-stage to growth-stage Pakistani startup with a working product or a strong prototype. They must submit a one-pager summary, comprehensive pitch deck, and detailed team bios. They can also submit an pptional one to three minute demo video showcasing your product or service (YouTube/Vimeo)

They will get the chance to connect with international investors and gain access to global markets and business opportunities as well as dedicated exhibition space at the Pakistan Pavilion with full travel and accommodation support.
