SHANGHAI: Chinese shares were down 0.30 percent in morning trade Wednesday, extending losses after closing at a 33-month low Tuesday, as investors await further monetary easing, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, was down 6.53 points at 2,159.68.
