Futures spread up 335bps

KARACHI: The futures spread increased by 335bps to 25.96 percent on the last day of the outgoing week. Trading activities on the futures counter remained low as average daily volumes declined by 10.2 percent to 253.95 million shares during this week as compared to previous week’s average of 282.81 million shares.

Average daily traded value on the futures counter however increased by 3.9 percent to Rs 13.59 billion during this week against previous week’s Rs 13.08 billion.
