Antony Blinken urges calm in call with Israel’s Herzog on Golan Heights attack

TOKYO: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken held a call with Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Monday to discuss a rocket attack on the Golan Heights blamed on Lebanon’s Hezbollah, and emphasized the importance of preventing an escalation of the conflict.
